- Charge the battery before it is fully drained to 0%. This helps protect the battery and prevent damage.
- If the battery has not been used for an extended period (2-3 months), charge it before use to ensure it is not damaged.
- Maintain a balance between shallow and deep discharging cycles. Perform a deep discharge every 3 months to activate the long-term immobile material in the battery, a process known as "re-lighting."
- Confirm the battery type before use, as this charger is specifically designed for lithium batteries. Do not use it with LiFePO4 batteries, as it may cause the charger to overheat.
- When charging, first connect the battery to the charger cable, then plug the charger into the AC power source. After the battery is fully charged, disconnect the power first, then remove the battery plug. Disconnecting the battery plug while charging, especially with a high current (indicated by a red LED), may damage the device.
